The Boston Fresh New England facility is a food safe environment. We have fully equipped dock doors leading to a temperature controlled dock space — ensuring quick unloading and movement to temperature specific storage areas for each commodity. Our process of off-loading into specific temperature areas allows us to maintain the best cold chain possible and in turn provide the highest quality product.

The facility is designed to be Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Point certified, audited through the Global Food Safety Initiative, and Produce Traceability Initiative compliant. Labels conform to GS1 number and Global Trade Identification Numbers. Orders are delivered via a dedicated refrigerated fleet operated by Blackhawk Transport.

Our first priority is understanding our customers’ needs and building a program to support them. A close second is fulfilling our obligation to support that program with products and services that they can depend on day-after-day.
