Welcome to the first-ever Maglio Markets In A Minute, Episode 1 the OG episode we’ll go with that because this is going to be the first episode of a long series of fun market updates, Maglio news, we might have spin-offs, Maglio Markets In A Minute, Tuesday talks with Tommy, I gotta find an employee named Tommy, we’ll figure it out, it’s gonna be fun. But again starting today we have our eight o’clock market update in a minute, all markets, all growing regions starting with this episode. Yesterday morning we had the teaser to clarify some things, hey where were you yesterday, by the way, May Manske behind the camera left me high and dry yesterday, filming by myself I had to balance this phone on a Snapple, you know how hard it is to balance a phone? Whatever, I’m just being dramatic it wasn’t that difficult but anyway so we dropped that to clarify what this is for, what we’re doing, today’s episode one, we hope you’re ready, we’re ready, it’s almost game time so let’s see. May let’s put one minute on the clock, let’s see here about one minute that means it’s 60 seconds which means ready set let’s roll. Markets, so we got tomatoes first and foremost from the companies beginning in 1902 we got the east coming out with just a little bit of volume, some local programs going on but not a whole lot, so you got eastern buyers buying in the west firming the market up a little bit. What else is going on, the west not a whole hell of a lot you’ve got some veg that’s trying to get stronger, romaine’s a little bit exciting but really it’s romaine so good luck with the recall coming down the road, a little higher price than normally would be, other lettuce and other veg pretty quiet. Moving down south you’re in Mexico, lime country, what’s going on with limes, they’re higher right now, bigger fruit more expensive, smaller fruit is less expensive. Besides that you’ve got local programs all over the country, Arkansas, Ohio, Michigan, New Jerseys keeping things quiet, keeping them pretty low, realistically not moving too high off that. The clock is ticking, we’ve got peppers creeping up a little bit, we got some veg creeping up in the squashes and cucumbers, besides that melons are cheap, strawberries are up, what else, we got pineapple low, supplies so we got you covered.I think that was close, I mean it’s got to be closer than I thought it would be, I was thinking like two minutes maybe three cause I get chatty if you couldn’t tell, but boom episode one, Markets In A Minute.
